Step One
For the Teacher:
Cut the posterboard into 2.5 x 3-inch rectangles.
Step Two
For the Teacher:
Use the hot glue to “draw” different shapes and patterns onto each rectangle.
Step Three
For the Teacher:
Once the hot glue has cooled and set, the rectangles are ready for students to use.
Step Four
Peel the paper wrapper off of the crayons.
Step Five
Place one of the rectangles with the glue on it under the watercolor paper.
Step Six
Using the side of the crayon, rub the crayon over section of the watercolor paper with the textured rectangle underneath. A corresponding shape or pattern will appear on the watercolor paper.
