Step One
Using a white board marker, draw a different type of line in each section of the Dry Erase Activity Spinner.
Step Two
Cut a piece of watercolor paper into a 9-inch square.
Step Three
Spin the arrow on the Dry Erase Activity Spinner. Use crayons to draw that type of line from one end of the watercolor paper to the other. The line does not need to be straight, it can meander from one side to the other. Repeat a total of 5 times.
Step Four
Clear the Dry Erase Activity Spinner and write the name of a different color in each section.
Step Five
Spin the arrow on the Dry Erase Activity spinner to determine which color paint to use. Using the watercolor paint and brushes, paint the areas between the lines. Repeat until the entire page is filled with color.
Step Six
Once dry, use the ink bingo dauber to draw your road from the top to the bottom.
Step Seven
Fold a strip of construction paper in half. Draw half-house shapes along the crease. Cut out to create a set of paper houses.

Step Eight
Clear the Dry Erase Activity Spinner and draw a different patterns and house parts in each section. Use the attached idea sheet for inspiration.
Step Nine
Spin the arrow to determine what to draw on each of the cut out paper houses, using the permanent marker. Repeat until all the houses are fully decorated.

Step Ten
Glue each of the paper houses onto your road line.
Step Eleven
Optional: If you have a white oil pastel, marker or tempera paint, use it to draw a dotted line down the middle of your road line.
ALTERNATE: For a different look, you could draw the road on the construction paper and use the watercolor paper to create the houses.
